Ministop’s History of Success
The second-largest multi-format retailer in the Philippines Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. brought the Mini Stop Convenience store in our country in collaboration with Ministop Japan and Mitsubishi Corporation.
The first Mini Stop store was settled in July 1980 at Okurayama, Yokohama with the initial capital of ¥30,000,000or 12,836,550.84 in Philippine Peso, and another successful achievement of Mini Stop way back in February 1987; it has completed the installation of POS system in all stores as the display screen-based order placement system.
Recently, Ministop open its 500th store in Philippines, perfectly situated at the ground level of Magnolia Residences in New Manila, Quezon City. Prior to that, it’s planning to expand also in Pangasinan, Roxas, Dumaguete, Davao and other 100 stores this year until 2017 with a total of 900 Ministop branches in the Philippines.
